What Happens After You Receive a Summons

If you have been arrested or have received a summons, you must appear in court on the date noted on the paperwork. A traffic citation (or ticket) may have one or numerous violations on it. These are usually handwritten on the front of the ticket by the arresting officer. Each violation has a number code and a written description.

At the bottom of the ticket, you should find the first appearance, or arraignment, date. This is when you must appear in New Orleans Municipal & Traffic Court. If you hire Tom before the date, in most cases, he will be able to appear in court without you having to go to court.
Contact Tom Harang to make sure that you have proper legal representation for your day in the court.
